Meziadin Junction 1000 km race !

Meziadin Junction is the most difficult race in Okanagan Federation program.Some lofts are  over  1000km(620 miles) away.It is located on the borders of USA, Alaska and northern Canada.Large Hazelton Mountains are in the way(2755 m) or 9000 feet in height.Birds are released at 5 am sharp,then arriving in  the Okanagan Valley before sunset on  the same day.Just to make it home on the day is huge accomplishment for these pigeons.Here are  the  winners of  Meziadin  Races.
