Okanagan Challenge Race reports 

The race #1     The race #2 most pigeons made it in good time.

 The race #3, from  100 Mile House ,108 pigeons were released at 6am sharp.First group of 24 arrived  few minutes before 10am.Within 25 minutes 100 birds entered Challenge loft. 4 hours plus on the wing.Congratulation goes to  The winner from 100 Mile House , AnneMarie Spring  and Pigeon (MP 94)

The Race # 4 from Williams Lake  was  on Sunday. Release time 6.30 total 106 pigeons.They all had  extremely  hard race. Best pigeons flew this race more than 7 hours and 30 minutes very strong western wind all the way home.Most of them flew over 10 hours. Congratulation to all 66 pigeons which made it home on first day.Last day bird  was Dane's Loft , Jeff Hett owner  ( VIC 235) at 20:27:49.We have about 20 more birds next day.

 Congratulation to The Winners: Brian Kelm  from Cawston BC and pigeon # CU 23763  .Mike Tomshak from Calgary Ron Hannant  from  Yorkton ,Marv Gilewicz from Regina and Vince Mitton and John Makelki from Okanagan. Fantastic performance . 

 The Race # 5 from Quesnel was moved to 11am,due to fog early morning. We released total  84 pigeons. Congratulation to  The winners of race from Quesnel (465 km). Dave Hill from Saanichton BC  with  pigeon ( VIC 402) and group  CWD,Chris Moore,Wally Ross,Dave Naylor with pigeon #(MP 2735) Total of 57 pigeons made it on a day. Last day bird was Grant Lunggren's # 3002 NRBC at 20-09-37. Next week this bird was in first group ! Next few days we had 18 more birds home.Only 42 pigeons completed all races in one day. 

Final race from Prince George.

 At 7am sharp  we have liberated 75 pigeons from Prince George (551 km).Temperature 5 celsius,overcast no wind.
Fantastic  results in Oliver. At 15-26-27  we had 10 pigeons on the drop,all equal first.Total 45 pigeons made it on first day.  At 20-06-42 arrived last Daybird (23746) belong to Brian Kelm .Next day we had 10 more birds. As of Tuesday.Aug.28 we are missing 20 pigeons.
